They call her The Unlocker, but she’s lost her key. Our protagonist is a world traveler, with the ability to travel through space and time, but her magic engine has run out of fuel. She must recharge her futuristic device, by unlocking the stories, songs and history of the objects around her, so she may continue on her adventures. There is art to be excavated in everything around us.

With a book by Idris Goodwin, commissioned by Seattle Children’s Theater, and aligned with MOHAI’s mission to platform and share “stories of the Puget Sound region’s diverse history” Seattle History Remix, is the beginning of a series of interactive, music, poetry and comedy fueled live-looping musicals. Loose, silly, song and rhyme driven, the content of the first show is based on MOHAI’s key themes of innovation and imagination, and how it has appeared throughout moments in the history of Seattle.
